Fearing to obtain gainful employment

Our Human Resources professor had a slight problem communicating with us in class last night.

We were talking about Health and Safety in the workplace, and then she mentioned problems with workplace violence. She told us, "Workplace violence is the #2 cause of death in North America."

We were shocked. One girl even asked for clarification and the prof repeated her statement. The prof started lecturing again, but someone else finally interrupted her and asked again... Then she realized she had forgotten to mention that "Workplace violence is the #2 cause of death in the workplace in North America." Ha ha! Whoops. The entire class started laughing with relief because she had totally freaked us out.
