Expensive bread

Last night I dragged Mel out for bubble tea at Sweet Dreams. On their menu they have a "Taiwanese sponge toast" dessert thing. It described it as Taiwanese sponge toast - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It could be covered with a variety of toppings. I ended up ordering a portion with peanut butter on top.

The result? I paid $2.99 for an extra-thick slice of regular bread with melted peanut butter on top. Seriously - except for its size, there was no difference between the so-called "toast" that I ordered and regular white bread. I was bitter.
