Long live the technological age

I'm currently in the school library attempting to read a book on British colonialism that was printing in the 1970s. All I keep thinking is, "Thank god I live in the computer age."

This book was written on a typewriter and it kills me to try to read the text. I also keep having flashbacks to my Canadian history class last semester when my professor was telling us about when he wrote his thesis. He mentioned how you'd have to use whiteout, or retype a whole essay just because you messed up on one little section...

We take computers for granted now, but once in awhile, (this being one of those times), you have to sit back and truly appreciate the convenience in our lives.
